Andro Rasanter V47

Rubber description:

The Andro Rasanter V47 is a top-tier table tennis rubber designed for players seeking a harmonious blend of speed, control, and spin. This rubber features a speed rating of 9.3, making it exceptionally quick, enabling players to execute powerful smashes and fast shots with ease. The V47 is well-regarded for its impressive consistency, boasting a rating of 9, allowing for reliable performance across a variety of play styles and conditions. With a unique tensor technology, it provides an exhilarating feel that enhances both offensive and defensive plays.

In terms of tackiness, the Rasanter V47 rates 1.5, indicating that it is designed primarily for speed and power, with less emphasis on spin generation compared to tackier rubbers. Players report excellent control when executing shots close to the table, making it suitable for a range of techniques, from flicks and counter-hits to swift offensive strikes. However, some users note that serve spin may not be as pronounced as desired, particularly for those who prioritize spin-heavy games.

The weight of the Rasanter V47 is categorized as light, which contributes to its speed while maintaining a comfortable feel on the blade. With a durability rating of 8.5, players can expect this rubber to withstand rigorous play over time, making it a solid investment for serious competitors. For alternatives, players might consider the Andro Rasanter R47 for a more spin-oriented option or the Bluefire M2 for a similar speed profile with enhanced spin capabilities. Overall, the Andro Rasanter V47 stands out as a versatile rubber, ideal for offensive players looking to elevate their game.

This rubber is good for backhand play. It has excellent speed and is very controllable. It also has a good feel.

Been using the rubber on my Butterfly Diode V blade. Despite the V for speed, it still is able to loop well. The serves are not as spinny as I would like, but they do get the job done. Smashes are great; anything popped up just a little high is killed easily.

I can’t really chop well with this rubber, but it may just be my technique. Pushes are also very low and spinny, gotta be careful though; sometimes they can net if you’re not careful.

I switched from Hammond Pro B, which offers excellent control but lacks speed and spin after 20 hours of use without boosting. I use this rubber on my backhand and wanted a faster option for power looping off the table while maintaining a strong presence close to the net.

This rubber is an excellent choice (I have the 2.3 max thickness) for those who perform flicks, counterhits, and smashes near the table and loop from mid to far distances. Its speed is remarkable, and you can still generate significant spin with proper technique.

However, if your playstyle revolves primarily around looping and spinny serves, I recommend the R47, which I have on my forehand in 2.3 max. The V47 serves are decent, but I have encountered challenges keeping them short, possibly due to my preference for forehand serves and increased practice with the R47.

Overall, the V47 rubber is an excellent choice if you prefer straight, flat, and incredibly fast shots. I use it on the Andro Ligna Off blade.
