As the name suggests, Butterfly Super Anti is an anti-spin rubber, which has the limitations inherent to this type of rubber.

Despite its soft sponge, it can return heavy attacks reasonably well - at least the opponent’s first heavy stroke. Highly skilled players may overcome this by executing several fast attacking shots in succession, forcing you out of position. However, such play requires a high level of skill.

Combining Butterfly Super Anti with a tacky backside rubber allows you to take advantage of the contrast between heavy spin and dead balls. Twiddling the racket between the two surfaces would be particularly effective.

Overall, Butterfly Super Anti is a good anti-spin rubber of high quality.

Please Note:

The sponge of this rubber is exceptionally soft.

WORST Anti rubber out there. Doesn’t do anything. Dead rubber.

This is a very good antispin rubber. It is very easy to attack with.

Tried this a long time ago. Not my favorite anti rubber. It felt too hard. I see other anti-players speak highly about this, so I think it’s not that bad.

Quite deceptive, this rubber has a lot of qualities. First of all, it is very good for chopping backspin balls. It is also good to hit flat in backspin and topspin, but for topspin, it is very good to chop with it. I only tried the 1.9 mm version, and it’s deadly against long and short pimples.

Great anti-spin rubber; very slow (takes a little while to get used to). Great reversal. Too slow to hit with, though it is good for blocks and twiddling chops/pushes. I would wager that this is the slowest anti-spin rubber in existence. I wanted to give it a 1.8 for speed, but ttdb won’t allow it. It’s definitely much slower than the Yasaka Anti Power.

I use these rubbers on my forehand. I enjoy hitting with them, as they confuse my opponent. On my backhand, I use long pips OX.

(Black 1.9 Review):

A splendid anti-spin rubber, indeed! It doesn’t take long to get the hang of and performs as it should. Its dead/soft sponge helps to change the pace of a rally instantly and offers unique play style advantages when coupled with a spin-oriented rubber. Slow, bizarre, and hard to read, this rubber stands out as a very good example of an anti-spin type. It excels at returning serves, blocks, chops, and the well-placed knuckle ball attack.

The speed is slow. The Yasaka Anti has more speed. The inversion is normal. The chop is good. The disturbance is evanescent. It is best on hard wood.

I really liked playing with anti-spin on a defensive blade (Matsuhita). It is light, durable (well, the construction anyways), and versatile. It has good touch feeling. I find long pips to be more interesting, but anti has its place.

Definitely not my rubber. The bounce is very unpredictable, sometimes it bounces slowly, and sometimes there is no bounce at all.

I tried to chop a ball with it, but the ball just spun in place, dropped in my area, and my opponent said “thanks”. :(.

It is a good anti-rubber for blocking as it makes it difficult for the opponent to make continuous topspin. Sometimes, they will hit the ball out due to the anti-spin. It is also good for attacking and easy to use for attacking.

This anti-spin rubber is not actually anti-spin. When I block a sidespin ball, it still spins just like inverted rubber. However, it is more controlled than inverted rubber.

Therefore, I have to chop a bit to return heavy spin.

And the funny thing is, it loops the ball when I reflectively RBP.

It’s a good anti-spin rubber. Solid, controlled, and consistent. Lovely feeling. Chops well. Hits flat. Hits very well, and it’s easy to change from defensive to attack. That makes for a useful defensive rubber.

If you are a good anti-player who can use anti-spin well, it’s a pretty good choice.

Another good anti-spin rubber is neo anti. I have two set-ups now using both models.
