A very good all-round rubber. On fast blades, it plays exceptionally well. Even on Butterfly Petr Korbel MagicHand, it provides a great feel. It offers high spin generation and features a medium sponge. It excels against backspin. The rubber provides very stable forehand (FH) topspin loops. For backhand (BH), it is suitable for players with spin-based techniques. Recommended.

I have played table tennis for 20 years and have tried many rubbers. This rubber is the one I have been looking for. It is fast if you hit the ball right, but you must use your entire body to play, not just your hand. I am a modern defender and I use this rubber for forehand. It is perfect and very spinny.

This Chinese rubber is slow and responds to how much effort and technique you put into your strokes. DHS G666 is a very slow rubber that promotes good technique and will improve your capabilities to perform loops of all sorts and serves. It is a relatively heavy rubber (as expected from a Chinese rubber). I had played with DHS G666 on my backhand at one point but replaced the DHS H3 Neo on my forehand with the DHS G666 because I couldn’t handle the speed and ‘pop’ from the DHS H3 Neo.

I’ve stayed with the DHS G666 rubber so I can develop solid technique, form, and skill before I move onto faster-paced rubbers. Its speed is solid and corresponds to how much effort you put into it. T-Energy 64 is naturally a fast-paced rubber, but the DHS G666’s speed is more manageable and can be played at different speeds (but if you want it to travel faster, you will have to have good form and fast swing speed to get the speed you want). The overall speed of the rubber is slow to medium-paced, so I gave it a 5 out of 10.

Like I said earlier, the spin put on the ball corresponds to your level of touch and feel for the ball. Once you get a ‘feel’ for how loops and serves are performed, the rubber will naturally promote good behavior and technique for its user. I rated spin 8 out of 10.

As for control, its naturally slow-to-medium speed rating, thick/dense rubber sheet and sponge, and texture of the rubber make the DHS G666 an excellent control rubber. My skills, knowledge, and technique for the game have improved significantly by using this ‘Beginner Friendly’ rubber because it ‘Promotes Good Behavior’, and that is a key attribute beginners should look for in their first couple of rubber sheets. I rated the control 10 out of 10.

NOTE: This is not a fast-paced rubber for long-distance players. Its maximum potential is brought out of the rubber from close to the table. A little bit more effort is required when reaching medium distance from the table. Recommended on the forehand side.

I really like this rubber. I use it on my Nittaku Russellfor 9.2 and it gives me a destructive topspin.

The control with this rubber is great, and the speed is slow. However, you can generate a lot of spin, and usually, the ball doesn’t come back. This allows for a lot of winning serves due to the spin.

If you’re looking for speed, don’t consider this rubber. However, if you want control with a lot of spin, you can give it a try. Be aware that it’s kind of heavy. If you don’t like heavy blades, avoid this rubber as well.

Perfect for power loops, smashes, and chops. Provides nice spin for serves. Recommended for use with DHS blades such as the Hurricane H-TP or Deeper DI-02.

I purchased this rubber alongside my Hurricane2,3 rubbers. As I have a hard blade, I decided to experiment with a softer rubber due to my preference for spinning. Unfortunately, this rubber lost its effectiveness after only 3 months, despite infrequent use.

It is concerning to observe a decline in the quality of DHS products, as I have been a loyal enthusiast of their brand. In contrast, my old DHS rubber, which is over 5 years old, remains remarkably sticky and outperforms the newer versions I have recently acquired.

This was my favorite rubber! This rubber propels you into an offensive playstyle. Although it isn’t quick, I still remember that I could smash anywhere when I was using this rubber. I would recommend using this rubber with a really light racket. Most of the time when I used this rubber, I won points by catching off opponents with smashes.

After searching for new rubbers, I always find myself coming back to this rubber. I’ve used it for both backhand and forehand. I think it is a pretty good backhand rubber after you wear down some of the original tack. It seemed almost too tacky for my backhand stroke, but after a couple hours of use, it is great.

Looping is fairly easy with it, as well as chopping and serves.

If you want a rubber that can produce a lot of spin, this is the rubber for you.

As a low intermediate player, I value control over speed. After using H3 Neo for some time, I’ve discovered G666, which has become my new favorite.

G666 shares many similarities with H3 Neo. It is slightly softer and less fast, but offers comparable tackiness and spin. Currently, I find G666 to be more forgiving than H3, which makes it a suitable choice for my playing style and skill level. Overall, I highly recommend this rubber.

This rubber provides good control but lacks speed, making it suitable for looping shots. I used it on my backhand, and it significantly improved my spin generation.

#12 — December 2009

Bought this rubber twice. Both times, the top sheet peeled off as though there wasn’t enough glue between it and the sponge. This is a huge downer.

#13 — October 2009

The spinniest and the slowest rubber I have ever used. It is ideal for players close to the table and smashers.

#14 — September 2009

I really like this rubber. I’ve been using hard sponge Friendship for years, and this rubber is much better. It has equally good control, but much more speed for attacking and looping without loss of control, and it still has that great Chinese long-lasting rubber that’s great for serving.
