Yinhe 9000 3 Star

Rubber description:

Yinhe 9000 3 Star is a remarkable table tennis rubber that stands out for its exceptional blend of spin, speed, and control, making it an excellent choice for both budding and experienced players. With a speed rating of 12 and a spin rating of 10, this rubber facilitates aggressive play styles, allowing players to execute lobs, chops, flips, loops, pushes, and powerful smashes with ease. Its overall rating of 9.2 underscores its performance, especially for its price point of around $10.

Tackiness is one of the key features of the Yinhe 9000, rated at 6.8. This trait is particularly beneficial for players who rely on spin-heavy strokes and enjoy manipulating the ball during play. However, some users have noted that while it starts quite tacky, the tackiness diminishes over time, requiring attention to maintenance. The rubber has a medium weight of 4.3 and features a sponge hardness of 5.3, which offers a balance between speed and control, allowing for an enjoyable playing experience.

In terms of durability, the Yinhe 9000 receives a rating of 6.8, indicating it may not last as long as some higher-end alternatives but still provides good value for the investment. Players who appreciate budget-friendly equipment without sacrificing performance often consider this rubber, though they might seek replacements more frequently. Alternatives to the Yinhe 9000 include popular options like the LKT Rapid Speed or Dawei 2008 XP, which cater to similar playing styles. Overall, the Yinhe 9000 3 Star is a fantastic choice for all-around and offensive players seeking an economical yet high-performing rubber.

My first serious rubber was used on my main blade, TSP Reflex 50 Award Off. I loved it.

It’s fast, tacky, and forgiving, making it easy to control despite its speed. It provides crazy spin and is very consistent when used for forehand strokes.

This is a fantastic forehand rubber. It has unbelievable spin, along with excellent power. This makes it easy and effective for lobbing, chopping, flicks (flips), looping, pushing (slicing), and, of course, smashing. Smashes are effortless and can be hit so fast the ball nearly goes through the table.

I use it as a forehand rubber with a 2.0 mm sponge. And on top of all of that, it is only $10.00. Great rubber!

As of 2016, this rubber is out of production, a terrible shame.

This rubber is very good for developing your loop and spin shots. However, I think the sponge is very thick, which makes this rubber heavy and hard to control. But for the price they offer, it’s a good choice if you’re an amateur who wants to train more attack shots.
