Yinhe Apollo III
Rubber description:
This rubber features a 38-degree sponge and is categorized as a sticky rubber. It is best suited for players who utilize an offensive looping style, providing significant spin potential on both serves and attacking loops. While it offers functional control for blocks and serve returns, it is designed to perform optimally when paired with a faster carbon blade.
Playing Characteristics
- Spin and Control: Highly capable of generating heavy spin, making it effective for technical looping and controlled defensive chopping.
- Tactical Usage: Performs reliably in short-game situations, including flipping over the table and blocking.
- Technique Requirements: Requires a deliberate, longer stroke motion to fully engage the sponge and maximize power, as it is not inherently explosive.
Considerations
- Equipment Pairing: Users report that the rubber feels sluggish on slower blades and performs best on setups with high rigidity or speed.
- Durability: The rubber has a limited effective lifespan, requiring frequent replacement to maintain its performance characteristics. Its weight is notably substantial, which may impact overall racket balance for some players.

Best performance for the price. This rubber offers excellent spin and chop capabilities.

The rubber is quite heavy and there arenât many advantages for professional players. Overall, itâs okay, but I prefer the Apollo 2 for both the backhand and forehand. The durability is average, especially when taking extra care of it.

This is a very good looping rubber, as well as an excellent choice for serves.
