Yinhe Apollo III

Rubber description:

Yinhe Apollo III table tennis rubber is a high-performance tensor rubber designed for advanced players seeking a combination of speed, spin, and control. It features an aggressive 12-speed rating, making it one of the faster rubbers in the Yinhe lineup. The 9-spin rating ensures excellent rotation on both serves and shots, allowing players to create sharp angles and deceptive variations.

Despite its high speed and spin, the Apollo III maintains a commendable control rating of 8.7, making it manageable even for players still developing their technique. The 8.6-tackiness rating provides a good grip on the ball, facilitating precise placement and effective spin generation. The rubber's weight of 6.9 grams contributes to a balanced feel and allows for quick and effortless strokes.

The Apollo III's 5.9-sponge hardness offers a good balance between speed and control, catering to a wide range of playing styles. The 6.6-gears rating indicates its versatility, allowing players to switch between different gears seamlessly, from delicate touch play to powerful attacks. The 6.3-throw angle provides a relatively low trajectory, enabling players to keep the ball close to the table and maintain control during fast-paced rallies.

The consistency rating of 7.5 ensures reliable performance and predictability, allowing players to execute shots with confidence. However, the durability rating of 6.3 suggests that the rubber may not be as long-lasting as some other options, and players may need to replace it more frequently.

Overall, the Yinhe Apollo III is a well-rounded tensor rubber that excels in providing a combination of speed, spin, and control. Its aggressive nature and versatility make it suitable for advanced players seeking a high-performance rubber that can elevate their game to the next level.

Best performance for the price. This rubber offers excellent spin and chop capabilities.

The rubber is quite heavy and there aren’t many advantages for professional players. Overall, it’s okay, but I prefer the Apollo 2 for both the backhand and forehand. The durability is average, especially when taking extra care of it.

This is a very good looping rubber, as well as an excellent choice for serves.
