Yinhe Mars Rubber Review
This rubber is a great value for the price, especially if you buy it as part of the Yinhe combo package. For just $13, you get a standard blade with two Mars rubbers.
The Mars rubber is a good all-around rubber that is suitable for a variety of playing styles. It provides good spin, control, and speed. It is also relatively durable, so it will last for a while.
Overall, the Yinhe Mars rubber is a great option for budget-minded players who are looking for a good all-around rubber.
I used this rubber a few years ago on an XI Up Probe All+ blade in Black. It started off tacky, but after cleaning it a few times with Stiga’s energy spray, it lost its tackiness and marked very easily. From what I can recall, there was no change in speed or spin; it just lost some grip.
This rubber was very fast and very spinny, making it suitable for a topspin driving game. At the time, I was unable to loop, so I cannot comment on its looping potential.
This rubber is effective for playing at a short or middle court, but it requires a faster blade combo for a longer distance style of play. I used this rubber on my first custom bat along with 9000D red 1.5 on my BH, which was a good combination for a complete novice like I was 4.5 years ago when I played with shop-bought bats.
