Yinhe Venus 3 table tennis rubber is a weapon of choice for players seeking an all-around, high-performance rubber. It boasts a mind-blowing speed rating of 10, making it one of the fastest rubbers in the Yinhe arsenal. The spin generation is equally impressive, clocking in at 9, allowing players to execute intricate shots with pinpoint accuracy. However, what truly sets Venus 3 apart is its exceptional control rating of 10, making it incredibly user-friendly and forgiving, even for less experienced players.

The tackiness, measured at 5.3, provides excellent grip, facilitating precise ball placement and enabling the player to impart heavy spin on the ball. The rubber's weight, at 4.4, offers a good balance between power and control, making it suitable for a wide range of playing styles. The sponge hardness of 5.5 contributes to the rubber's exceptional feel, providing a crisp and responsive touch.

Venus 3 excels in generating gears, earning a rating of 5.5 in this area. This versatility allows players to transition seamlessly between aggressive attacking shots and controlled defensive play. The throw angle, rated at 4, falls within the medium-low range, favoring a flatter trajectory that emphasizes speed and directness.

Consistency is another strong suit of Yinhe Venus 3, with a rating of 10. Players can trust this rubber to perform consistently, shot after shot, game after game. Durability is also noteworthy, with a rating of 9.3, ensuring that the rubber can withstand the rigors of intensive play without compromising its performance.

Overall, Yinhe Venus 3 receives an impressive rating of 8.8, earning it a place among the top-tier table tennis rubbers. Its combination of speed, spin, control, and versatility makes it a highly sought-after option for players of all skill levels. Great Value Rubber for Backhand

This rubber offers excellent value for money. I use it on my backhand and am highly satisfied with its performance. While it’s not particularly fast, it’s ideal for developing your backhand technique and excels at blocking and backhand topspin.

Exceptional Durability

Update: The durability of this rubber is remarkable. After approximately a year of extensive outdoor play, it has only recently begun to show signs of wear. This is an exceptional lifespan compared to other rubbers I have used, demonstrating its impressive quality.

Venus 3 Table Tennis Rubber

Priced at $14 per sheet, the Venus 3 showcases an impressive top sheet. When freshly glued to a compatible blade, it delivers a satisfying performance. Despite not being a tensor or boosted rubber, the Venus 3 offers excellent value for its price range.

Since I’ve only had one sheet, I cannot comment on its durability or consistency. However, based on my initial experience, the Venus 3 appears to be a quality rubber at an exceptional price point.

Venus 3 Table Tennis Rubber Review

As marketed by Yinhe, I tested this rubber on the backhand (BH) side of my Joola Flame Extreme (an off blade). For reference, I previously used AK47 Blue rubber, so my comparisons will be based on the Venus 3 (medium-soft sponge) and AK47 Blue (soft sponge).

The Venus 3 is a tacky rubber, making it suitable for both forehand (FH) and BH play. While the speed is slightly lower on the BH due to the stroke motion, the springy sponge aids in returning the ball to the table. This rubber excels in chopping, active blocking, and countering topspin. It is also decent in serving, lifting backspin, opening topspin, and flat hitting. However, it is not as forgiving as the AK47 Blue, particularly in passive blocking, but still gets the job done. The Venus 3 is best suited for close to mid-table gameplay.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this rubber for BH attackers unless they have proper technique. I gave this rubber to a friend who primarily chops with his backhand, and it suits him well. For those with a limited budget, the AK47 Blue is a more versatile option that can handle a wider range of shots effectively.
