Blade description:

The Andro Blax OFF is a high-performance table tennis blade that caters primarily to aggressive players seeking speed and responsiveness. Crafted from a unique combination of balsa core and koto plywood, this 5-ply blade offers an exceptional feel while enabling players to execute powerful shots. Designed for the modern offensive game, it strikes an impressive balance between speed and control, making it a compelling choice for those who prioritize aggressive stokes.

Weighing approximately 78g (with a tolerance of ±10g), the Blax OFF is classified as a lightweight blade, which enhances maneuverability and allows for quick adjustments during play. Its optimal thickness lends a sense of solidity without sacrificing speed, enabling players to generate rapid attacks with minimal effort. The blade features a stiffness rating of 4.8 and a hardness of 5, providing a small degree of flex, which can enhance ball feel and spin potential, but may require precise timing for best performance.

This blade excels in speed, rated at 9.5 out of 10, making it ideal for players who favor fast, aggressive tactics. Nonetheless, some users have mentioned a trade-off in terms of control, with a respectable rating of 9.2. Players who prefer softer rubber combinations for their backhand will find this blade accommodating; however, achieving spin and consistency requires practice and focus. As alternatives, the Andro Blax OFF can be compared with blades like the Butterfly Timo Boll ALC or the Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive, which also cater to offensive strategies but offer different handling characteristics. Overall, the Blax OFF is highly regarded for its speed and consistency, appealing to dedicated and skilled players who thrive on attack.

Very light blade, best for offensive players with good strokes. Recommended with soft backhand (BH).

The control is decent, especially with hard rubbers.

Speed, yes — control, no

This blade is good for people who like fast and hard top spins more than anything else. However, the problem is that you can’t do anything else with this blade. You need a wonderfully good timing with this blade, otherwise you won’t get one ball on the table. Besides, spinny top spins aren’t easy, because the dwell-time is much shorter than with other blades.
