Andro Wanokiwami AO OFF
Blade description:
Blade Construction and Build Quality
This is an all-wood, five-ply offensive blade known for its high-quality finishing and craftsmanship. The blade features a distinct ergonomic thumb pad and a thin handle design, though some players with small hands have noted that the wide wing construction may affect grip comfort. The surface is well-finished and compatible with various gluing sheets and rubber types. While the blade produces a soft, balsa-like acoustic profile and feel upon contact, it does not utilize a balsa core.
Playing Characteristics
The blade offers a balanced performance profile, typically classified as an OFF- to OFF speed range. It is characterized by a linear power response, where speed and spin increase proportionally to the effort applied by the player. It provides a crisp feel with minimal, non-intrusive vibrations. The blade is particularly noted for its ability to generate high spin levels and a consistent, somewhat high trajectory, making it highly effective for looping and spin-oriented offensive play.
Performance and Control
With a high degree of dwell time, this blade excels in both the short game and mid-distance rallies. It is designed to prioritize control and consistency, allowing for reliable ball placement during attack and defensive maneuvers. While it offers sufficient power for flat kills with aggressive strokes, its primary strength lies in its predictable behavior and the ease with which it facilitates heavy topspin. It performs reliably when paired with medium-to-hard rubbers, translating input power into a stable, linear output.

This wood offers incredible control and a unique spin trajectory. It generates a lot of spin effortlessly, with consistency rated at 10/10.
For a five-ply wood, it possesses exceptional speed, easily executing strong spin shots from 2-3 meters away from the table. The short game is also outstanding.
My setup includes Dignics 09C on the forehand and Donic Piranja OX on the backhand. It allows me to consistently land a large number of balls on the table. Highly recommended!

Nice blade with reasonable power and very good control. Top-class finish.
I have small hands and found the handle even smaller than an Acoustic standard. Hence, I sold it because I don’t like using grip tape to make it bigger.

Premium workmanship.
The blade has a lot of control and decent speed. The handle is thin, but the wings are too wide.
Not so good for small hands (like mine) despite the thin handle. Very good, but not perfect.
