Blade description:

The Andro Treiber Q table tennis blade is a high-performance option that seamlessly combines speed, control, and feel, making it an ideal choice for players who thrive on aggressive play styles. This blade is designed specifically for players who enjoy looping and smashing, delivering exceptional power and precision. Rated highly among users with an impressive overall score of 9.1, it demonstrates qualities that cater to advanced players looking for a competitive edge.

The Treiber Q features a wooden composition that is meticulously crafted to achieve a balance of speed and control, making it one of the fastest blades in the Andro lineup. Weighing in at approximately 88 grams, it sits comfortably in the medium weight category, providing ample stability without being cumbersome. Its thickness contributes to a solid feel during play, allowing for precise ball placement and powerful shots. With a stiffness rating of 5.7 and a hardness of 5.7, the blade exhibits a well-rounded flexibility that accommodates various playing styles, particularly effective for explosive blocking and powerful topspin strokes.

For those exploring alternatives, the Treiber Q is often likened to the Zhang Jike Super ZLC, offering similar high speeds but with enhanced feel and control. Players have found success pairing it with Euro and Japanese tensor rubbers like Yasaka Rakza 7 and Rakza 9, which complement the blade’s capabilities. Although it has been discontinued, the Treiber Q remains a sought-after option for serious table tennis enthusiasts who appreciate its blend of speed and control, which can elevate their game to new heights.

Slower version of Zhang Jike Super ZLC, perfect control. Perfect for chopping because throw is ultra low.

Exceptional blade! Speed, feeling, and control are perfectly combined. The medium-high throw is very good for blocks and superb for topspin, both close to and far from the table. We couldn’t find any weak points. It’s too bad that Andro stopped making it.
