Andro CSV OFF+
Blade description:
The Andro CSV Off+ is an all-wood, 5-ply offensive blade known for its remarkably lightweight construction and high value. It offers a stiff and hard feel, providing a crisp, direct response that favors an aggressive, spin-oriented style. While it is highly capable in high-speed rallies, its design is optimized for performance close to the table, where it excels at blocking, flicking, and short-game touch shots.
Performance and Feel
- Stiffness and Speed: The blade is characterized by a stiff profile that delivers surprising speed for a 5-ply wood construction. While fast, it offers a more predictable, natural feedback compared to many composite alternatives.
- Spin and Control: Despite the high speed, the blade maintains a middle-high throw angle, making it well-suited for modern looping. It provides sufficient dwell time to facilitate heavy spin generation, balanced with enough control to manage drop shots and tactical pushes.
- Handling: The blade features a compact head size (15cm x 15.5cm) and a low total weight, often falling well under 85 grams. This makes it exceptionally maneuverable for wrist-oriented play and counter-looping.
Suitability
The Andro CSV Off+ is best suited for attackers who prioritize a controlled, spin-heavy game rather than raw power. Its lightweight nature allows players to pair it with heavier, high-performance rubbers without the setup becoming cumbersome. While it is effective for mid-distance looping, its most consistent performance is found in rallies at or near the table, making it a versatile option for players ranging from developing attackers to seasoned offensive competitors.

Awesome blade for the price! (Bought it for 30€ new, in Greece)
I purchased this blade to replace the Balsa Carbo X5, which had opened up and become useless. Initially, I thought I would use it for a couple of months and then switch to a more “high end” blade. However, after a year, I still use this blade because it performs surprisingly well. The power is at the top of OFF, not quite reaching OFF+, but the control is excellent. It is particularly effective for mid-range looping. For shots played far away from the table, it feels a bit slow and less powerful compared to other OFF+ carbon blades, and the same applies to smashes. I would prefer a more direct feel when playing shots far from the table. On the other hand, the control for close-to-the-net shots and blocks is very good. The design and craftsmanship are impressive, comparable to blades that cost four times the price.
This review is based on using Yasaka Rakza X rubbers on both sides (maximum thickness on the forehand and 2 mm on the backhand).
Overall, this is an excellent blade for all-around and offensive looping gameplay, and it offers great value for money!

Blade: Andro CSV Off+ FH: Hurricane 3 NEO 39 Degree 2.15mm BH: Tenergy 05 2.1mm
This was my very first customized blade, so I didn’t know what to expect. I was used to using a Dawei blade with quite a thick composition (7.0+ mm thickness), so I was interested in seeing how this 5-ply blade would do in terms of spin and speed. I was very surprised.
This is an EXCELLENT BLADE! Although it weighs in at only 82 grams and is an all-wood blade, its speed characteristics are amazing. I never felt that I was being outrållied. Despite being quite thin of a blade, its stiffness and hardness definitely show. Suited for playing close to the table, counter looping and driving are great, and blocks are solid.
Another big selling point is how comfortable the blade feels in hand. I don’t know how they did it, but it feels very soft when you grab the handle, yet the blade itself is sturdy and hard. When I switched to the Viscaria after this blade, I was disappointed that the Viscaria was not as comfortable as the Andro. The only reason I switched to Viscaria is due to the higher flex, which I wanted for its looping qualities.
Overall, an excellent product, and for so cheap as well, the results you get are amazing. I think it is the best blade I’ve used so far in terms of ease of use. I’ve had others try out my blade, and they also find it very easy to use. It’s fast but not super fast like the carbon blades.

The individual known as [https://revspin.net/user/karakankaczy.html](https://revspin.net/user/karakankaczy.html) has created multiple accounts under different names to manipulate ratings and promote preferred equipment. This behavior is likely driven by immaturity and a lack of sportsmanship.
Regarding the Andro blade, it has been found to be inconsistent in terms of quality. Two blades of the same model exhibited a significant weight difference of 10 grams. This suggests poor manufacturing standards and a lack of attention to detail. Additionally, the blade’s performance is unreliable, making it unsuitable for serious table tennis players.
It appears that Andro intended this blade as a transitional tool for young players progressing from beginner to intermediate levels. However, the inconsistent quality and unpredictable performance make it an unsatisfactory choice for both beginners and experienced players alike. Andro has produced numerous other blades that surpass this particular model in terms of quality and performance.
