Andro Super Core Carbon Light (CL) OFF

Blade description:

This carbon blade is characterized by a high-speed output and a stiff composition, designed primarily for aggressive, all-out attacking styles. Players often note the blade’s significant velocity, which requires a refined touch, particularly during touch play, pushes, and short game sequences.

Playing Characteristics

  • Speed and Stiffness: The blade features a high degree of stiffness with minimal vibration, resulting in a direct, crisp feel upon ball contact.
  • Performance: While some users find it challenging to manage during delicate play due to its speed, others report that it performs effectively during third-ball attacks and loop-heavy offensive exchanges.
  • Compatibility: The blade pairs well with spin-oriented rubbers and short pips. When using faster offensive rubbers, some players find that opting for softer, lower-tension sponge options can help stabilize control during defensive or passive shots.

Construction and Feel

  • Composition: This is a composite blade featuring a carbon layer, typically utilizing a 5+2 construction.
  • Weight and Handling: The weight distribution is generally perceived as light, allowing for quick maneuverability, which benefits players who rely on speed and fast hand movements at the table.

Hi! I have been using this blade for over 3 years and have been quite content with its performance. However, I am looking to upgrade. Please suggest a carbon blade that is as light as this one or +/- 10 grams and supports a top spin loop game. Thank you!

This blade is fast, but not overly so, making it easy to control, especially during aggressive play and third-ball attacks. I do not understand the previous reviews that mentioned inconsistency and control issues. In my opinion, this blade is light and easy to play with. It supports both spinny rubbers and short pips.

I highly recommend this blade to everyone, even young players and beginners. It has no weaknesses and is fun to play with.

The blade is very fast. I would recommend this blade to professionals only, as it will take a lot of practice to control. If you play an all-out attacking game, this is the blade for you. I would advise anyone using this blade to use soft and slow rubbers so that you can get control when pushing and get the speed off the blade when attacking. Wow, it’s fast!
