Timo Boll Spark on steroids, better known as SPAAARK THANOS. Butterfly Bazel Art, a name reminiscent of a fusion between SWITZ Kunstmuseum BASEL and the essence of ART. Topspin dominates my thoughts, and the weight is substantial. “Tear you in pieces 'cause rotation too heavy” My Basel, the ART is weighty.

Used it for 5 months. Slower than the SK7, or my current Viscaria, but great for learning how to loop. Used H2 and is great with other hard sponged rubbers. Any softer than medium then it gets mushy.

Great for a controlled looping game, bad at smash. Loops have tons of spin due to the added dwell time (arylate). Hitting hard is tough due to flex/dwell forcing overshot balls off the table. Blocking blows too due to the dwell/flex = in a higher throw.

Overall great blade for beginners and those who can’t seem to get away from fast blades.

Great upgrade of speed, solidness and power is the Innerforce AL. Shaved the IF to match the Bazelart head shape and had zero adjustment except the ability to powerloop consistently and smash w/o worries.

I rate this as an OFF- blade.

I’ve tried many blades, including all-wood blades, but this one has better control. Great Blade!
