Literally, it plays well with any type of rubber, inverted or pimpled. If using inverted rubbers, it is better to have a thick sponge. The official introduction states that it is a mid-range priced blade, but it boasts top-notch performance like those used by the Chinese national team players, and you would believe it. It is like an upgraded version of the Yasaka Ma Lin Carbon, but with better control and power. It is a genius design — the top wood is ebony, it has seven equally thick layers of ayous in the middle, and it is only 5.7 mm thick. The backhand looping and blocking are simply amazing, powerful, and accurate. I would prefer this blade over the expensive DHS Hurricane Long 5. It is slightly stiff but still has some flex, and it is very good at holding the ball and creating spinny shots.
