All-wood
It’s surprising that there aren’t any reviews for this blade. I purchased it for $50 from AliExpress.
The composition is the same as the DHS 301T. However, it’s claimed that the 301 series undergoes a special process to make them resistant to cold and hot weather, humidity, and water. I don’t believe this blade has that feature, but I sealed it myself, so it’s now resistant too.
The dyed Koto-Limba-yellow and blue arcylate carbon-ayous composition is nice. The finishing is of good quality.
The playing characteristics are almost identical to the DHS PG5X, which is my main blade. I switched my rubbers (Yinhe Moon Pro Soft and Yinhe Moon Blue 12 Medium) to this blade.
The handle is thicker, more flexible, and a bit softer. Despite the arylates, it has some vibration. When touching the ball slowly, it feels like a slow all-wood blade. When you put in effort, it becomes very powerful, from Off to Off+. Although my rubbers aren’t speed monsters, they are still fast enough with this blade. Drives and smashes are satisfactory.
I also enjoy the look of the dyed Koto outer layer and the yellow and blue colored handle. I’m happy to have a cool-looking and powerful blade at a very cheap price.
Note: If you like lightweight blades, it’s really hard to find one below 90 grams. As far as I understand, DHS Power PG composite blades commonly weigh 92-93 grams.
