Review text: China National Team

Of all the table tennis blades I’ve tested, China National Team has the best grip and feel. The blade is also very lightweight, which makes it easy to maneuver. I also found that the blade has a lot of power, which allows me to hit the ball with a lot of speed and spin. Overall, I’m very impressed with the China National Team blade and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality table tennis blade.

A fantastic blade marked with “Chinese national team.” I’ve played with it a few times using Tenergy 80, Stiga Magna TX2, Adidas P7, and the new Stiga Calibra Tour rubbers. It’s like the Stiga Ebenholz, with ebony on the outside plies, but not quite as fast as the Stiga bat. It’s still fast, maybe equal to Rosewood. But there’s a feeling in this blade that I haven’t experienced before, and I’ve tested a lot of good blades in the last two years. I seem to hit every ball very well, and it goes where I aim it. It has a low throw, which I like, and with the new Tenergy rubber 80, there’s no chance of missing. Also, despite the hard outer plies, the serves are very spinny. I recommend this blade to everyone, but it’s not easy to get. I looked for it for almost a year until I received an email from Estonia (!) that a guy was willing to part with one. There are two versions of this blade: one with a serial number between 0 and 1000 (DHS made 1000 pieces of this for the Chinese national team) and a “commercialized” version without the stamp mark under the right wing. I’ve only seen the latter once on the internet and haven’t tried it in real life. There are also two other versions, one faster and one with almost all+ properties. Mine has the serial number 833/1000, is marked for the Chinese national team, and only exists in a flared handle mode. Wow, I don’t even want to play with it. I might just frame it!
