Nice handle. The blade seems to have good balance towards the handle. A good blade for intermediate to advanced level. Nice sweat spot given by glassfibre also feels very woody. You can play aggressively with fast rubbers. Overall excellent value for money, another fine blade for looping with control.

A blade that’s very close to the Waldner Senso “all wood” ones in terms of composition (the intermediate limba ply has been replaced here with a thin glass fiber ply).

Versatile would be the word that describes this blade best. It’s stiffer and a bit harder than the regular Waldner Senso, and thus far better for flat strokes. Still, the feeling on topspin is good, with a long enough dwell time (maybe thanks to the glass fiber, I don’t know). I’d say this blade is an OFF-, but I don’t find it faster than the WS; they just have a different feeling. This one is more direct and versatile, while the WS would suit topspin-only players a bit better.

My Game Style:

I prefer looping on sight with both wings, although my pace is slow. I can mix it up and keep the ball tight when playing short. I am most comfortable playing at half distance and am better at counter-blocking than serving.

Set Up:

* Forehand: Desto F1 2.00mm * Backhand: Vario Soft 2.00mm

Glued up until banned.

Blade Review:

I highly recommend this blade. I purchased it when it first came out around 2000 and played with it for three years before giving up the sport. It excels at looping but lacks a bit of power for smashing.

Despite its lightweight, the blade is strong and durable. I have accidentally knocked it over a few times without any damage.

It is suitable for all-around slow loopers and blockers with a preference for flair. However, it is not an ideal choice for players seeking outright speed.
