Introduction:

The Stiga Ebenholz VII Magna TX Boost TC is a professional table tennis blade designed for advanced players seeking a balanced combination of control and power. The blade boasts a meticulously crafted construction featuring a unique blend of materials that enhance its playing characteristics.

Construction:

At the core of the Ebenholz VII Magna TX Boost TC lies a 5-ply composition. The outer plies are crafted from premium Limba wood, renowned for its exceptional flexibility and ball feel. The two middle plies comprise Koto, a hard and dense wood that contributes to the blade’s stability and power. The innermost layer is constructed from balsa wood, a lightweight and resonant material that amplifies touch and enhances the blade’s overall responsiveness.

Playing Characteristics:

The Stiga Ebenholz VII Magna TX Boost TC exhibits a well-balanced playing style that caters to both offensive and defensive techniques. Its combination of Limba and Koto in the outer and middle plies provides a blend of speed and control, allowing players to execute powerful shots while maintaining precision. The balsa core contributes to an enlarged sweet spot, facilitating effortless control and responsiveness even off-center hits.

Speed and Power:

The Ebenholz VII Magna TX Boost TC generates impressive speed, particularly when employed in topspin rallies. The Limba and Koto layers combine to create a trampoline effect, propelling the ball with substantial velocity. Players can effortlessly generate powerful shots, enabling them to dominate the table with aggressive strokes.

Control and Precision:

Despite its emphasis on speed, the Ebenholz VII Magna TX Boost TC does not compromise on control. The Limba outer plies offer exceptional ball feel and sensitivity, allowing players to execute precise shots with confidence. The balsa core further enhances control by dampening vibrations and providing a stable platform for attacking and defensive play.

Feel and Touch:

The Stiga Ebenholz VII Magna TX Boost TC offers a distinct feel that caters to players seeking a responsive and intuitive blade. The combination of Limba and Koto provides a well-rounded balance of hardness and flexibility, resulting in a tactile experience that allows players to discern subtle variations in ball spin and trajectory.

Durability and Reliability:

Constructed from premium materials and assembled with meticulous craftsmanship, the Ebenholz VII Magna TX Boost TC is a durable blade designed to withstand the rigors of regular play. The blade is fast and made of wood. It has very good control and feel. I use it with LT tour soft FH and Focus snipe III BH.

#4 — May 2013

A beauty. Many have said it, and I agree. It’s not as fast as Stiga claims, but it is of course very fast indeed. It has great control, and it makes a sound that will make your co-players at the table-tennis facility jealous!

#5 — February 2013

Nice looking. Compact blade size. Stiff, rigid, and very fast.

Personally, this blade can answer to your need for high speed with good control.

#6 — December 2012

Very good blade.

#7 — February 2011

The Stiga blade is not as fast as the manufacturer claims.

It offers good control for playing close to the table, but its stiffness makes it challenging to play at mid to far distances.

Additionally, the blade has an extremely low throw, which makes it difficult to generate enough spin.

#8 — October 2010

Almost as good as Butterfly blade.

#9 — April 2010

This blade is not as fast as Stiga claimed. However, its control is excellent. For this reason, I believe it is better to choose faster rubber for this blade.

#10 — February 2010

Very poor manufacturing quality for this price range. The handle feels rough and a splinter came off the edge of the blade during rubber regluing. To top it off, the blade warped slightly after less than half a year and no longer lays flat on the table. It would be better to purchase a BTY blade instead.

#11 — July 2009

This is a perfect blade in Stiga production. Low throw of arcs in return by hard strokes.
