Victas Award Offensive
Blade description:
The TSP Reflex 50 Award Offensive is a 5-ply all-wood blade noted for balancing offensive speed with a high degree of control. It is well-regarded for its lightweight construction—typically ranging from 75g to 85g—which promotes excellent maneuverability and balance, minimizing head-heaviness during play. The blade is especially effective for near-the-table play, blocking, and short-game touch shots, while providing sufficient performance for mid-distance looping.
Playing Characteristics
- Feel and Feedback: Users report a sharp, accurate feel with relatively low vibration. The blade features specialized handle technology (often cited as foam integration) that contributes to a softer, more comfortable sensation during impact.
- Performance: While classified as an offensive blade, its speed profile is often described as falling in the OFF- to OFF range. It offers a reliable dwell time, which facilitates topspin generation and looping, though some players note it can struggle slightly with flat-hitting shots.
- Versatility: The blade is highly compatible with a wide variety of rubber types, including both Euro-tensor and Chinese tacky rubbers. Its consistent performance makes it a popular choice for all-round and offensive players who prioritize placement and tactical variation over raw, unbridled power.
Construction and Physical Features
- Composition: This is an all-wood blade featuring 5-ply construction.
- Handling: The blade is noted for its high-quality finish, though handle dimensions and grip thickness can vary. The surface of the blade is quite smooth, which may require stronger or thicker adhesives to ensure rubber sheets remain securely attached.

It rates at 844hz and works perfectly with euro-tensor and Chinese rubbers.
I was using Xiom Vega Pro max thickness, but then I switched to DHS H3N 2.15mm FH and Yasaka Rakza Z max thickness BH.
Good for all players, it has good control and enough speed, nothing special really.

It works perfectly with tensor rubbers, such as Xiom Vega Pro Max Thickness on the forehand and Yasaka Rakza Z Max Thickness on the backhand. This blade is suitable for all players and offers good control and speed. For its price range, it remains unmatched unless you opt for a Yinhe/DHS blade from AliExpress.

Good blade. Speed is closer to off- than off+, lightweight.
