Victas Balsa 3.5
Blade description:
This composite blade is specifically engineered for the modern defensive style, balancing significant control with sufficient gear for offensive transitions. Featuring a 3+2 construction that incorporates fiberglass layers, the blade provides tactile feedback that assists in placing low-trajectory chops and executing accurate blocks.
Playing Characteristics
- Performance: Designed for players who prioritize control and defensive precision, the blade remains manageable in the short game while retaining enough speed to execute offensive attacks when needed.
- Construction: The integration of fiberglass layers enhances the feel, allowing for strategic play away from the table and controlled manipulation of the ball.
- Weight and Handling: Notable for its lightweight nature, with reported weights ranging between 60g and 72g. Users should be aware that the straight handle profile is relatively thin, which may necessitate the use of grip tape for optimal handling.
- Equipment Pairing: Due to the blade’s inherent rebound characteristics, careful selection of rubber is recommended to maintain stability. It pairs effectively with rubbers that favor spinny, controlled attacks and strategic countering, though pairing with overly bouncy or slow rubbers may require adjustments to sponge thickness.

Provides the control needed by modern defensive players. Can be bouncy, so plan wisely with inverted rubbers. Tried with T05 and T05 FX 1.8 mm; both rubbers may have a bad time in terms of attacking. Double Fish Volant may be too slow for some reason. Xiom Pro H gives the spinny controlled attacks better and counters more strategically. Pimples may require 0.6 mm sponge for better control, especially near-the-table tactics.

Easy-to-control blade; had an easy time chopping away from the table. Has a decent amount of power and speed when on the offensive. Would recommend for anyone who wants to play modern defense.

My second one, so I know how good it is for modern defense game. TT11 super fast as usual.
