Updated Review

After playing with the blade for two weeks, I have noticed the following differences compared to the regular Ice Cream AZX blade:

  • Size and Weight: Heavier by 3 grams out of the box, 1 mm longer, and 2 mm wider, all as advertised.
  • Performance: Slightly faster on drives and hits, providing a more solid feeling on blocks.
  • Sound: Interestingly, the ball hits with a lower frequency than the same setup with the regular AZX.

Overall Impressions:

The blade feels quite good, similar to the regular AZX. I have noticed improved control against inverted players. However, this comes at a trade-off, as I feel more pressured against pips players compared to the regular AZX. I find that I can move the racket around quicker with the regular AZX, while my blocks and drives are more stable with the PRO blade.
