All-wood
This blade has a rather unusual ply construction consisting of one single ply of katsura wood. Compared to hinoki, it is remarkably stiffer and harder, making it a good choice for pips out hitters or any player who dislikes the flex of typical hinoki penhold blades.
The blade is well finished and of high quality. The price is reasonable.
