I am very pleased with this blade. It is my first defensive blade, and I was worried about its offensive capabilities. However, I find that the blade is good for looping at any distance. It is a solid 5-ply blade and is great for chopping with LP. The construction is nice, and I recommend it to people looking for control with enough finishing power.

Hard, stiff and fast DEF blade.

This LQ-1 is a little bit faster and harder than the LQ-2. Excellent for blocking/hitting game. First class quality blade.

Excellent blade for disturbing play with long pips.

Very nice defensive blade for off the table defense. It is harder and not as good for hitting with LP (or hardbat if that is your style) than the LQ2. However, in my opinion, it is a better blade for close to the table block with LP than the LQ2. You can adjust its speed somewhat based on what rubber you use.

It is a little heavier than my LQ2 blades, but it has great quality. I have the straight handle. It blocks nicely with my LP on the backhand when I get caught at the table. The weight on mine is closer to 90 grams. Am I the only one using this blade?
