Andro Good!
Rubber description:
This rubber is a versatile, non-tensor sheet designed for all-round play and skill development. It features a soft, porous sponge that provides significant dwell time, allowing for excellent ball feeling and consistent placement. It performs as a controllable, classic-style rubber that offers a slight performance upgrade over entry-level options without the intense catapult effect associated with modern high-tension rubbers.
Playing Characteristics
- Spin and Grip: The topsheet offers reliable grip, making it easier to generate spin compared to standard classic rubbers. It is effective at catching the ball to initiate underspin or topspin strokes.
- Speed and Power: While not a power-based rubber, it provides enough punch to be effective in topspin rallies and quick shots at the table. It is well-suited for players who want more speed than a traditional classic rubber but prefer to avoid the unpredictable nature of tensor technology.
- Control and Dwell: The soft sponge creates a medium-high throw angle, which enhances safety in the short game. The extended dwell time allows for high precision during passive and active blocks, as well as controlled counter-hitting.
- Versatility: It is highly effective for both defensive chopping and tactical blocking. Its consistent nature makes it a stable choice for learning basic strokes and advancing in competitive play.

I am using the 2.1mm green rubber on the backhand of my Neottec Voodoo Classic blade. This rubber performs well for chopping, blocking, and countering.
Overall, it effectively suits my playing style and skill level. Unlike other tensored rubbers, it doesn’t have much of a catapult effect. Instead, it offers good control, making it an excellent choice for all-around play.
