Andro Plasma Women

Rubber description:

Andro Plasma Women is a versatile table tennis rubber that caters to a wide range of players, steering clear of the restrictive notion implied by its name. With impressive performance ratings across the board—93 for speed, 103 for spin, and 93 for control—it is clear that this rubber is designed for those who seek a balanced blend of power and precision. The sponge hardness at 40 degrees contributes to its excellent touch, making it suitable for both aggressive shots and delicate placements.

In terms of tackiness, the rubber scores a modest 1.2, which means it is not overly sticky but still generates ample spin when struck correctly. This makes it highly forgiving, particularly beneficial for players who prefer a more controlled approach in their strokes. The lightweight feature, rated at 1.1, allows for quick maneuverability, ensuring that players can respond swiftly during intense rallies without the burden of heavier equipment.

Durability is another strong point for Andro Plasma Women, receiving a commendable rating of 8.6. Players can expect this rubber to withstand rigorous play over time, which enhances its appeal as a reliable choice for both recreational and competitive players. For those considering alternatives, while some might suggest trying the Joola Energy Xtra for a faster offensive experience, the Plasma Women rubber leads with superior control, especially on the backhand side—a classic favorite among players who value precision.

Overall, Andro Plasma Women proves itself to be a high-performing rubber that transcends preconceived notions of its intended audience, delivering impressive results and a level of confidence rarely matched by other rubber options.

Just got this rubber today, the 2.3 version in black and red. It felt great right off the bat. It’s an all-around nice rubber. I love the weight. It really made my Bty Innerforce ALC a very nice weapon, which is now around 165 grams. Thanks, Plasma Women, you are so pretty.

Forget the ‘women’ tag. This is a fine rubber. Using it on the backhand on an Andro Kinetic Supreme OFF-, I find it very difficult to miss a shot! It offers tremendous control. Although not as fast as the Joola Energy Xtra on my forehand, it is much better on 2nd or 3rd stage offense due to the high control. I highly recommend this rubber for players lacking confidence on backhand loops.
