Just got this rubber today, the 2.3 version in black and red. It felt great right off the bat. It’s an all-around nice rubber. I love the weight. It really made my Bty Innerforce ALC a very nice weapon, which is now around 165 grams. Thanks, Plasma Women, you are so pretty.

Forget the ‘women’ tag. This is a fine rubber. Using it on the backhand on an Andro Kinetic Supreme OFF-, I find it very difficult to miss a shot! It offers tremendous control. Although not as fast as the Joola Energy Xtra on my forehand, it is much better on 2nd or 3rd stage offense due to the high control. I highly recommend this rubber for players lacking confidence on backhand loops.

I hesitate to share just how good this inverted rubber is, for fear you guys may buy it all! All kidding aside, this VERY soft sponge provides amazing control with surprising amounts of new-generation-rubber “springiness.”

The topsheet, while non-tacky, generates more than adequate spin (assuming proper technique, of course). The combination produces a sheet with fabulous touch both at and away from the table and is more than fast enough to ‘get your point across.’ As a result, you feel comfortable with it almost immediately, and, equally important, you have great confidence in your shots.

It seems to be a perfect match for my Nittaku Acoustic, which already has great touch. While the Acoustic is not an OFF+ rated blade, I am not hesitant to back away from the table and counter-loop with this rubber (your mileage may vary, depending on your choice of blade). Also worth noting is that this rubber is lighter than most. Additionally, its medium-high to high throw is very forgiving, which means more topspin shots land more often!

Bottom line: if you value control and are willing to give up a bit of the speed of Tenergy (AND a lot of the weight), then you should try this user-friendly sheet. FWIW, it seems to me the only thing feminine about Andro Plasma “Women” is the name.
