I have a special place in my heart for Plaxon and Andro as a whole. The control offered by these rubbers is exceptional, providing a lot of forgiveness while still delivering a surprising amount of bounce for a soft rubber. The spin is very good as well.

I used Plaxon on my very first setup over six years ago. I had the 400 version on my forehand and the 450 version on my backhand, paired with an Andro Core 7 OFF+. This setup helped me progress from an amateur player to an intermediate level of play.

That being said, I wouldn’t recommend this setup for anyone looking to learn more advanced strokes, such as looping, lobs, drives, or open-ups. There are far better rubbers available for that purpose. Nevertheless, I learned all the basics with this setup, and it has played a significant role in shaping me into the player I am today. I still keep this setup in my bag in case someone needs a spare racquet when we’re playing.

Exceptional rubber! I started with this product and have since experimented with faster rubbers. However, the feeling of the Plaxons remains unmatched at this time.

This is a nice medium rubber, with the standout feature being its topspin capability. It performs very well as a backhand rubber.

For the forehand, I prefer medium hard rubbers, and for shots around 400, I would recommend Plaxon 525 on the forehand.

Overall, I really like Andro as a brand; their rubbers are durable, of very high quality, and offered at a great price. In fact, I prefer Andro Plaxon over Vega Pro.
