Andro Rasanter V42
Rubber description:
The Andro Rasanter V42 is a tensor rubber featuring a medium-soft sponge with fine pores and a high-quality, relatively thin topsheet. It is widely regarded as a versatile, “do-it-all” rubber, particularly favored for backhand play due to its consistent performance and reliable feedback.
Playing Characteristics
- Speed and Spin: Offers a balance of speed and spin potential suitable for aggressive top-spin attacks, smashes, and effective serving. It is faster than traditional rubbers like Mark V while maintaining good mechanical grip.
- Control and Throw Angle: Characterized by a linear feel with a low-to-medium throw angle. It produces less catapult effect than the R-series, which enhances its blocking capabilities and stability during short-game exchanges.
- Feel and Dwell: The medium-soft sponge provides a comfortable, forgiving feel that aids in landing shots on the table consistently. It is noted for being lightweight, which helps in maintaining a balanced racket setup.
Tactical Suitability
- Strengths: Excels in blocking, counter-looping close to the table, and executing backhand flicks. Its trajectory makes it highly effective for players who prefer flatter, penetrating shots over high-arching loops.
- Performance: Requires a clean, active stroke to generate maximum spin, particularly when lifting heavy backspin. It pairs well with a variety of blades, ranging from stiff carbon constructions to all-wood setups, offering a reliable and controlled experience across different distances.

Good for backhand. In my opinion, not really a forehand rubber, but still good quality and long lasting.

Rubber Andro Rasanter V42 is very good for playing fast.
Spin and control are very balanced during matches.
I am very happy to have this blade and the Andro Rasanter V42 rubbers.
Thanks.

For me, it’s a do-it-all backhand rubber. But its real strength is the control. I played with the “R” series, and the R42 was great but very bouncy and had a quite high throw angle. The V42 has almost the same features in general, but is really better at blocking thanks to lower bounciness and throw angle compared to the “R”.
