Roundell Hard Table Tennis Rubber Review

This rubber is very similar to the popular Tenergy 05FX. Despite being marketed as “hard,” it is actually relatively soft compared to other leading rubbers, with a hardness slightly higher than Razka 7 Soft.

The Roundell Hard excels in power strokes like smashes, loops, and spins. Its thin and grippy top sheet generates ample spin on high-speed loops. However, it is not well-suited for slow-paced play. It also has a moderately high throw angle.

Update:

The Roundell Hard rubber is highly sensitive to incoming spin. As another reviewer mentioned, it is comparable to the Razka 7. However, the Razka 7 is less spin-sensitive, making it a more recommended choice over the Roundell Hard.

Donic Bluefire M2

Same topsheet as regular but with a 5-degree harder sponge (40 degrees on the Butterfly scale). Weight: 47g when cut to 2.1mm, which is 4 grams heavier than the regular Roundell on the same blade.

Provides extra power for looping and smashing. Excellent short game performance. Pairs well with offensive blades. Offers excellent speed, comparable spin to Rakza 7, and significantly improved control (less bouncy than tensors).
