Nittaku Narucross EX Hard

Rubber description:

Nittaku Narucross EX Hard is a high-performance table tennis rubber designed for advanced and professional players seeking a balance between speed, spin, and control. Here’s a detailed description based on information provided and forum reviews:

Speed: 9.6/10 Nittaku Narucross EX Hard is an extremely fast rubber, allowing players to generate explosive shots and cover the table with ease. Its high speed is perfect for aggressive playstyles that rely on power and speed to overwhelm opponents.

Spin: 9.3/10 Despite its impressive speed, the Narucross EX Hard also offers excellent spin capabilities. The rubber’s tacky surface and grippy topsheet allow players to impart heavy spin on the ball, making it unpredictable and difficult for opponents to return.

Control: 7.3/10 While the Narucross EX Hard excels in speed and spin, its control is slightly lower compared to some other rubbers. This is due to its fast and bouncy nature, which requires a certain level of skill and experience to handle effectively. Players may need some time to adjust and develop the necessary control to fully utilize this rubber’s potential.

Tackiness: 3.3/10 The Narucross EX Hard has a moderate level of tackiness, providing a good balance between grip and control. It allows players to generate spin without the rubber becoming too sticky or difficult to handle. The moderate tackiness also contributes to the rubber’s consistency, making it reliable for all types of shots.

Overall: 9.3/10 Based on user ratings and reviews, the Nittaku Narucross EX Hard receives an overall score of 9.3 out of 10. Players appreciate its exceptional speed, high spin potential, and overall performance, making it a top choice for advanced and professional players seeking an aggressive and powerful playing style.

Playing Style: The Nittaku Narucross EX Hard suits players with an aggressive playing style who rely on speed and spin to dominate the game. Its high speed and spin capabilities make it ideal for topspin drives, loops, and counter-attacks. Players who excel at power play and have good control over their strokes will find this rubber highly effective.

I use this rubber in 1.9 on my forehand with a 5-ply wood blade. I don’t care if it doesn’t have the best speed or spin; I’m consistent with it, and that’s what matters. Looping, driving, blocking, and pushing all feel completely under my control. When I use this rubber, no part of my opponent’s side of the table is out of reach.

This rubber offers great speed but is not the best in terms of spin. However, it provides excellent feel during play.

Even though the Calibra LT Plus has similar spin characteristics and performs better in that regard, I still prefer this rubber for its superior feel.

I played with this rubber for the first session and used it as my backhand on an off-wood blade. It is absolutely amazing! It is replacing my old Hammond X, and what a difference it makes. Although the Hammond X is a really nice rubber, the Narucross EX hard outshines it in all aspects—speed, spin, and looping.

All my opponents were shivering every time I looped! Let’s see how long it lasts.
