This rubber was not good. Players sponsored by Yasaka did not like it. It does not shine in any area.

Backhand

I use Red (2.0mm sponge) on a Hurricane King 655 and Galaxy W6 for my backhand. It performs exceptionally well on the W6, allowing for consistent sideline shots (at my 1400 USATT rating). This has significantly boosted my confidence.

The rubber is versatile, enabling me to switch sides and execute spinny serves. Many opponents struggle to return these serves, often sending them into the net due to the excessive spin.

Looping with this rubber is a delight on both the W6 and the 655. I prefer the W6 for improved shot placement, while the 655 offers greater speed. The rubber provides a range of speeds, including:

  • Low: Effortless serve returns
  • Medium-low: Effective for looping
  • Fast: Powerful mid-distance slams

Note: I exclusively purchase this rubber in Red (2.0mm sponge). It would be helpful if reviewers consistently mention the color of the rubber they are using.

I love the tacky surface of this rubber. It provides a lot of feel and speed, making it suitable for both close to the table and mid distance attacks. The rubber is also good for serving.

Paragraph 1:

This rubber wears out too quickly. It performs exceptionally well for the first month of use, providing excellent control and spin for an offensive playstyle.

Paragraph 2:

However, once the rubber begins to deteriorate, it loses its effectiveness rapidly and becomes unsuitable for further play. This significantly limits its lifespan and overall value compared to other table tennis rubbers.

DHS Magician M-02 (ALL+):

Pairing the DHS Magician M-02 (ALL+) rubber on both sides of the paddle enhances its performance. It provides excellent control, and the hardness is perfectly balanced for this combination. When struck with force, the rubber produces a satisfying click sound. This rubber is highly recommended for its exceptional performance.

This is a very impressive rubber designed for attacking players. It offers excellent control considering the high speed it produces. Blocking is also effective with this rubber. Once you become accustomed to its characteristics, it becomes highly rewarding.

I have used this rubber on both my forehand and backhand, and it performs exceptionally well on my backhand. It enables me to generate lightning-fast backhand shots down the line, making it an ideal choice for my preferred stroke.

It’s a bit bouncy off the rubber, which can make shots fly off.

#8 — October 2009

It is fast, but it seems to bouncy.
