I have blue rubber; it is grippy with good control.

There are 2 versions of this rubber—one with a blue sponge, another with a black one. The one I’ll talk about is the blue sponge version.
Freshly boosted, it’s extremely fast and hard to control, so I had to wait for 4 weeks for the booster to dissipate. After 4 weeks, it was still faster than freshly boosted H3 (for reference, comparing Jupiter 3 Tour/National H41 with National H3 Blue Sponge H41). The throw angle is higher and longer than H3; coupled with higher top-end speed, this rubber is slightly less controlled than H3. The big pro is that this rubber doesn’t need a booster to utilize its full potential, unlike H3. The topsheet is very tacky; the short game and serving are amazing. I like it better for that than even boosted H3. Looping overall is a bit easier for an experienced opponent than H3, but at the same time, as I mentioned before, it’s significantly faster. Even unboosted, the sponge is a bit softer than boosted H3, providing good dwell, and overall third-ball attacks are easier, coupled with a higher throw angle. I tried this rubber on 2 similar blades—Butterfly Viscaria and Yinhe D715 (D715 is stiffer than Viscaria, similar to Viscaria Golden Tag). Since Viscaria is slower, I felt like it was a bit easier to play with, but with D715 my shots were harder to return for opponents.
Overall, it’s an amazing alternative to H3 if you don’t wanna boost your rubbers. It’s not a direct replacement, but I feel like it’s a better choice for a wider range of people.
