Pros:

  • Nice blade
  • Good control
  • Enough speed for an all-around offensive game
  • Weight is well distributed
  • Anatomic handle suits well in hand
  • Craftsmanship is very nice

Cons:

  • May not be produced anymore by Andro

Overall:

This blade has a good balance between control and speed, making it suitable for all-around offensive play. The weight is well-distributed, and the anatomic handle provides a comfortable grip. The craftsmanship is also very nice. However, it may not be produced anymore by Andro, so finding one may be difficult.

Recommended for:

  • Players looking for a well-balanced blade with good control and speed
  • Players who prefer all-wood blades for their vibrations, feedback, and flexibility

Additional Notes:

  • The blade has 7 layers, giving it a bit more speed than some all-wood blades with 5 plies.
  • The reviewer paired the blade with Rasant Beat and Powergrip 2.1mm rubbers on both sides, which they found to be a good setup.
  • The complete setup weighed 180 grams, which is a good weight for many players.

Taking up TT again after decades, I first started with a BFY Timo Boll All+, which I found not stiff enough. I upgraded to the Andro CS7 Pro, which has a nice solid stiffness without feeling heavy and gives a clear and consistent feedback.

I like that only one sort of wood was used for this blade. I would rather rate it OFF- than OFF, maybe not fast enough for the power topspin player. I think it is best suited for the controlled offensive player.

I would be prefer the grip surface to be a bit less smooth.

No one has tried this blade? What a pity, because this blade is truly amazing. It’s constructed with 7-ply Ayous wood, which is medium hard or medium in flexibility. The speed is amazing, and the control is excellent. However, in my opinion, this blade is not for defensive players. It’s more suitable for all-round or offensive players.
