Andro Super Core Cell OFF table tennis blade

Blade description:

The Andro Super Core Cell OFF is a high-performance table tennis blade designed for intermediate to advanced players who excel in offensive play. With a construction consisting of 7 meticulously crafted plies, this blade strikes a remarkable balance between speed and control, making it a favorite among counter-attacking players. While it offers a robust speed rating of 91, its high control score of 94 ensures that players can place their shots with precision, giving them the confidence to play aggressively.

Weighing in at approximately 85g, the Super Core Cell OFF is considered to be of medium weight, providing stability and comfort during prolonged play without causing excessive fatigue. Its thickness contributes to a slightly stiff feel with a rating of 5.1, allowing for powerful drives and loops while maintaining good feedback on touch shots. The hardness rating of 5.6 means that this blade is suited for players who prefer softer rubbers to maximize feel and spin. Its notable flexibility supports varied playing styles, though it particularly excels when used with advanced techniques.

While the Andro Super Core Cell OFF is optimized for powerful strokes and close-to-the-table play, it may not perform as well for those who favor a pushing style, making it less ideal for beginners. Alternative blades for those seeking similar speed with a bit more forgiveness might include options with carbon layers, which tend to deliver enhanced speed. Players seeking a well-rounded blade for control and touch might also consider the Andro Carbon Compact OFF- for its unique characteristics. However, for those who possess solid technical skills, the Super Core Cell OFF can help unlock peak performance on the table.

An underrated blade, it has a very nice feel. Excellent control and still with a decent amount of speed.

Pretty nice blade, but I can’t stand the hollow “blop, blop” sound it produces, no matter even if you use thick rubbers!

The blade is excellent for counter-attackers who possess textbook strokes. It’s not suitable for beginners. While it struggles with pushing, it excels at flipping. I rate its control higher than indicated. It pairs well with softer rubbers such as T05FX on the forehand and Evolution FXP on the backhand. My game has significantly improved since using this setup. It also performs well with Rasant and Razka 7 rubbers. Highly recommended.
