Composite/carbon
After playing with an all-wood blade for a year, I decided to try a carbon blade. I chose this blade and the first impression I got when using it was that it felt like an all-wood blade, which I really liked. This blade is not stiff, even though it has layers of carbon inside it. I still get some dwell time, so I can generate spin on my shots easily. This blade also has high control, allowing me to place the ball with more precision.
My blade has an FL handle. However, I found the handle to be too small and slippery, so I added a rubber grip to it.
I put Nittaku Sieger PK50 2.0 mm on the FH side and Andro Rasanter R48 1.7 mm on the BH side. I can loop, smash, block, and chop from a moderate distance. My shots are also sharper and deeper.
Overall, I believe this blade is very good. The only downside is that it is quite expensive.
