I have been using this blade for 7 months now. Due to my tennis elbow, I wanted a lightweight blade, so I opted for this one, which is also reasonably priced. Initially, I paired this blade with R45 on both sides, and I loved it. While it was a soft setup, it was perfect for me as I was getting back into the game.
The blade offered a lot of control; it wasn’t extremely fast but was fast enough for my needs. I prefer a controlled style of play, so this suited me well. Consequently, I purchased a second blade. Now, I’m using R53 on the forehand and T05 on the backhand. I adore this combination as it provides both control and the necessary speed when required.
It performs exceptionally well both close to the table and at a distance, given you have good technique. It’s a thick and relatively fast blade, weighing around 73g. I think I’ll stick with this for a while.
Very impressed by this blade. After a quite long search and after trying various blades, I will probably stick with this one for a while. Carbon blades are normally too stiff and rigid for me. However, this blade gives me loads of feeling and control. It plays very easily, especially in short game and touch game.
What stands out to me the most is the consistency of this blade. It is the first time I tried a balsa blade, and it just feels right. Flat hits are decent, looping feels just good, and blocking is a dream.
I am not sure what type of rubbers would suit best for this blade. I am playing Rasanter42 on the backhand and Rasanter45 on the forehand, which works very well so far.
