#1Long Time Ago...

Very good blade, better control than the Super ZLC series, but still almost as laser-accurate. With a flared handle, it weighs about 87 grams. It’s quite stiff and offers very nice control, not bouncy, with a trajectory between medium to low, and very accurate. I have tried a lot of PBO, super PBO, ZLC, and Super ZLC blades, but this is probably the best of all of them. However, it’s not for beginner players. It’s made for players who prefer slightly stiffer blades. It has a longer dwell time than the Super ZLC, but it’s not as annoying as the ALC series, which is great for me, although the sound is not the best. Overall, it’s a great blade.

85 gram specimen. Paired with BlueGrip C2 2.0 on both sides, the racket weight is 186 grams. There’s just a hint of weight towards the head, but still really good flexibility for short game and wrist-oriented shots.

Dynamic without much loss of table control. Ball throw seems low based on C2 being a high throw rubber. Easy to produce low and high arc shots, and the arc is dependent on the speed of the ball you hit.

Excellent spin in the short game and control to push, flick, flip, and all-around manipulation of the ball. The catapult of the blade is more dynamic and understandable than Viscaria or Super ALC Vis.

Blocking is much easier, and the ability to change the distance of loops from mid-table to the white line gives a timing disadvantage to opponents. Speed is quite good to hit through people, but this blade is more for getting the ball where they aren’t. Opening is good and consistent with a strong drive and touch.

Countering is very consistent; the only blades that have countered/counter-looped this well in my experience are ZQH90 and Barwell Fleet. An excellent blade for those who want every spin option and vary between any and all shot selections without being punished for changing pace. This may be my last Butterfly blade because it’s really good.
