I have this blade, but I’ve never used it. I remember buying it when it had just come out. I got the straight handle with Tackifire FX rubber. I kept it in a climate controlled safe for some reason I can’t fathom. The rubber is still like new! I wish there were clubs around where I live like there used to be in Detroit, MI.

I love this so much. I need to buy it.

Nice blade, the old one, it’s a real dream.

Purchased a used Keyshot in excellent condition. I paired it with Nittaku Magic Carbon rubbers on both sides.

My impressions: The bounce of the ball is average, not too soft or too hard. The handle of this blade is slightly smaller but wider compared to newer Butterfly blades.

This is an excellent control blade. I initially found it to be a bit too springy or soft, probably due to the soft top sheet of the rubber. However, it provides great topspin and controlled offensive capabilities. This is a technical blade that can tire out aggressive offensive players due to the large number of controlled balls it generates. I am eager to try this blade with Tenergy or other tensor rubbers.

It was one of the best blades I ever owned. Oddly enough, I bought it from my coach, Carl Hardin. It was a little heavy, and I was just beginning in table tennis at around the 1200 level. I loved to try new equipment constantly. A friend of mine still plays with it to this day.

I am a two-wing looper and hitter. This blade had all kinds of different gears. My current training partner, Sreeram, also plays with a KeyShot and loves it.

One of the best blades I ever owned. I had two, many years ago I gave one to Coach Carl Hardin when I switched to the similar BISIDE. It’s a great all-round racket for a varied spin game. I could chop well with it. I once had Magnitude on the backhand and could chop down fairly heavy loops with it. I could also crush long pushes.

The only problem was that one scale of the handle on both blades came off — easily remedied with some carpenter’s glue. With reglued Shriver FX, I got tons of spin on my loop and enough speed to go through even 2200 level blockers.

Why they discontinued this (or the BISIDE) is beyond understanding.
