Butterfly VSG-1000

The fastest blade from Butterfly, it features a very good handle with a nice rubber.

The name says it all. It offers no vibration, but provides a good feeling. It excels in blocking and is also effective in offense. However, upon using it, you’ll notice a certain deficiency. It lacks the necessary power for a clean kill on chops and all-out offensives. As for loops, even with good swings, the balls tend to be less heavy, making them easier to block.

During my time using it, I paired it with various rubbers: Tuttle Beijing 3, Sriver FX (FH), Stiga Mendo Energy, and Hurricane 3 Neo (BH). Nonetheless, it remains a decent blade.

I first got this blade when I was 17 years old. I still remember its power and good feeling until today.

One of the best blades I’ve ever used. Very powerful and easy to control. Good blade overall.
