This racket is modeled after Ma Long’s racket. While it may not be the exact same quality as what he uses, the quality is still high.
I previously used the Harimoto ALC, and the feeling is similar. The grip might feel a bit thin, but it’s more bouncy than the Harimoto ALC. Therefore, even when using a non-springy, tacky rubber like Hurricane, the bounciness isn’t an issue.
This racket is definitely not for beginners. I would recommend it if you feel that wood alone isn’t bouncy enough, or if you lack the ability to utilize an outer racket due to a limited sense of rotation.
It’s still challenging for me to use, and I make a lot of mistakes, but that’s likely due to my skill level, not the racket itself. If you try it and like it, stick with it and keep practicing!
