Nittaku Tenaly Feruku

I’ve tried the regular Tenaly as well as the carbon, and I normally play with a Nittaku Miyabi one ply. This Feruku blade has a soft surface feel because of the hinoki outer plies, but the kevlar layers provide stiffness and on harder swings really boost the speed up. It feels like a split between a one ply and a carbon blade.

For the amount of speed capable on hard hits, it is very controllable as well. Fast drives are the best part of this blade, blocking is simple, and loops are easy enough. The blade and handle shape actually lends itself to forehand chopping, and pushes.

This blade was designed for offense though, and it excels at that. Its a bit pricey, not sure if its worth double the cost of the carbon Tenaly (I got it on sale for almost half) but its a unique playing blade for sure!.
