Blade description:

The Nittaku Violin Carbon Inner is a composite blade featuring a 5+2 construction. It serves as a faster, more powerful evolution of the original all-wood Nittaku Violin, while retaining a similar signature feel. By placing the carbon layers in an inner position, the blade manages to maintain a balance between crisp, aggressive offensive capabilities and a high degree of touch for finesse shots.

Playing Characteristics

  • Speed and Power: Positioned in the OFF- range, the blade offers significant speed for smashes and loops without feeling uncontrollable. The inner carbon layer provides extra stiffness and a expanded sweet spot compared to traditional all-wood constructions, allowing for consistent power generation.
  • Feel and Control: Despite the added composite strength, the blade is widely praised for its exceptional touch and feedback. It provides enough sensitivity for short-game control and stability during blocks, making it an intuitive tool for players who prioritize accuracy in their rallies.
  • Physical Properties: The blade is characterized by a balanced weight distribution and high-quality craftsmanship. Some users have noted that the handle design is relatively thin, which may require a short adjustment period, though the overall build quality is consistently rated as excellent.

Upgraded from a DHS Hurricane King 2 with Butterfly Rozena on both sides. This is my first carbon composite blade.

The evenly spaced wood grain looks amazing, and the carbon provides a very large sweet spot. It allows for stable hits, crisp attacks, and easy looping. I paired it with a Nittaku Tubo blue on the forehand and a G-1 on the backhand.

I love this blade setup. It has improved my attacks and given my loops a major boost. I’ve only played with it for two months, and it already feels like an extension of my hand. I’m sure there are faster blade and rubber combinations out there, but this setup always lands, and I have consistent high spin.

The blade quality is good.

I assembled a racket with a red Fastarc G-1 in the maximum thickness and a black Fastarc G-1 in 2.0 thickness.

It turned out to be a very dangerous combination for the opponent. At first, it took a long time to get used to the unusually strong catapult effect, but now everything is getting better.
