Super weird blade, and I love it! Weird composition—4 plies of Ayous, weird handle (35×23 mm at the end)—longer than usual flared handles and more flat at the bottom, but wider sideways and thick at the same time, though comfortable with a good, soft finish. I really enjoy just holding it. The blade head is also weird since it is smaller than in other blades (150×152 mm). I really like this blade since it fills my hand nicely, it is soft to the touch, the weight balance is great, and it feels very light, especially with soft-light rubbers. Wood is soft with a great feeling of the ball and with sufficient speed, but it is not too fast, so blocks are good as well. Control with this blade is the greatest out of the blades I’ve used; I can’t really put my finger on why. When you hit the ball with it, you feel it; however, it is a strange feeling like you are hitting it with a compressed paper box, but it is great feedback. It also merges well with any rubber you put on it, whether it is Chinese tacky or Euro/Jap rubber, soft/hard—doesn’t matter; all feels great with it. Control is great for beginners with this blade; it is also way cheaper than many beginner all-round blades. If you can get over its strange handle and your hands are below 170×105 mm, I can’t recommend it enough. The only downside I see is that if you cut rubbers to this blade and you want to sell them later, they won’t match any other blade. Good, classic blade with loads of control, good dwell, and sufficient speed, but not overwhelming for a total beginner. Well done, TIBHAR.

Very good classic all blade.

For me the head is too small (only 15.3 cm) and the handle seems to slip off my hand. (Will try soon with an overgrip.)

This blade is great for steady, all-around gameplay. The feeling you get when you hit the ball is really good. If you’re looking for a blade that gives you better control of your shots, this is an affordable option.

Tibhar IV-L has only four plies, all of which are made of ayous wood. This makes it a suitable blade for all-around players or attackers who prefer playing close to the table.

The blade performs well in short games, service returns, loops, drives, and hits. It pairs particularly well with pips-out rubbers.
