Tibhar Karas OFF
Blade description:
The Tibhar Karas OFF is a high-performance offensive blade characterized by its unique 9-ply construction. This composite design incorporates four layers of carbon, providing a rigid, vibration-free feel that remains remarkably stable during aggressive play. Despite its significant stiffness and speed, the blade maintains a high level of control, allowing for effective play in both the short game and heavy-looping exchanges.
Playing Characteristics
- Construction: 9-ply composition featuring four layers of carbon and five layers of wood.
- Stiffness and Feel: The blade is exceptionally firm with minimal vibration, resulting in a direct, crisp contact sensation.
- Performance: It excels in all-out attacking scenarios. The transition between defensive blocking and offensive looping is reported to be smooth and consistent.
- Weight Distribution: The thick head construction contributes to a stable, solid feel, making it reliable for both rapid and passive blocking maneuvers.
Because of its rigid composition, players may need to adjust their racket angle for aggressive topspin shots depending on the specific rubber pairing. It is highly compatible with a variety of modern rubber tensions and tacky surfaces, proving particularly effective for players who prioritize speed and consistency in their attacking game.

Do you know of any other blades similar to this one? I have been using this Karas OFF for many years, and I have never found the same feeling with any other blade before.
However, this model is no longer manufactured, so I am looking for a similar substitute. Could anyone give me some suggestions? Thank you.

Very good blade. I played before with a 6-ply blade, Charly Roeshc, which has the same head thickness. The blade has no vibration, nice control, and fast attack. I played with TIBHAR Evolution MX-P 2.1 on both sides.
