All-wood
Lack of power due to the balsa inner ply, but very light, so it’s easy to do all kinds of hits in all kinds of positions. I will change for a more responsive blade, which will be a bit heavier of course.
It’s a typical light inner balsa blade with harder outer plies. In my opinion, it lacks power with new PB, and it’s REALLY fragile. Balsa blades are good for blocking but not for loopers or generating spin. I would only recommend it for players that play close to the table, rubber dependent.
Very nice blade with great feeling, speed, and control. It is light and fast.
Got this blade as a recommendation from a table tennis supplier as one of their best-selling blades. It was cheap, only 30 euros. It’s made of Balsa. It felt more like a blade for a junior player or for someone looking for a light blade. It lacked power back from the table. I prefer a blade made from real wood and with more weight. I didn’t like it all that much.
I started playing with that blade, and I still use it 15 years later! I can’t play with any other wood because it’s so light. Chila is the best wood for both control and attack styles, but it also allows for some pushes.
