Yasaka Falck Carbon
Blade description:
The Yasaka Falck Carbon is a 5+2 construction composite blade designed for attacking players who prioritize a balance between offensive power and tactile feedback. By placing the Japanese Premium Carbon (JPC) layers closer to the wooden core, the blade achieves a solid, stiff feel with minimal vibration, while maintaining the nuanced touch often associated with all-wood rackets.
Performance Characteristics
- Speed and Power: The carbon integration provides a significant boost in speed, allowing for aggressive play and powerful finishing shots. It is frequently compared to high-end inner-carbon blades, offering performance characteristics similar to established professional-grade equipment.
- Feel and Control: Despite the inclusion of carbon, the blade is noted for its high level of ball feedback. Users often report a smoother transition for those moving away from traditional all-wood blades, as it retains a delicate touch for finesse shots and controlled placement.
- Build and Weight: The blade typically weighs between 82 and 83 grams, making it a relatively lightweight option. The construction is highly durable, with the internal positioning of the carbon layers providing better protection against accidental impacts with the table edge.
Usage Recommendations
This blade is well-suited for aggressive attackers who rely on precision and need extra power without sacrificing the ability to feel the ball during delicate exchanges. Its performance profile makes it particularly effective for players using short pips on the forehand or those seeking a stable, high-performance alternative to more expensive market equivalents. Note that while the build quality is high, some users may find the finish around the handle area requires minor sanding for optimal comfort.

Tried this blade. I preferred it to the butterfly inner carbon blades; definitely more feel and control, but I’ve decided to go back to all wood.
Good blade. I agree with others that the finish is a bit rough around the handle—nothing sandpaper can’t sort out.

Perfect for a forehand short pips player (male).

I am using it with Xiom Jekyll and Hyde X50. The previous blade was TB ALC. It’s slightly slower than TB ALC and closer to Viscaria, but the control is so much better.
I was looking for a light (82 grams), straight-handle blade with excellent speed and control. Yasaka Falck Carbon has all these attributes. The handle is very comfortable. The carbon layer is closer to the core, meaning less damage when accidentally hitting the table. Being cheaper than other top brands is a bonus.
It is highly recommended. The delivery from tabletennis11 is outstanding. Very fast despite being on the other side of the planet.
It is highly recommended.
