Yasaka Falck Carbon Blade Review

For several years, Mattias Falck played with the Yasaka Ma Lin Soft Carbon and steadily improved his World ranking. However, he asked the Yasaka blade factory to develop a slightly faster blade with as much ball feel as possible.

After testing different carbon materials, combinations, and thicknesses of wooden veneers, the Yasaka factory found the right solution: using Japanese Premium Carbon (JPC) and 5 wooden veneers in exact thicknesses. The final challenge was to optimize the gluing method.

Just months before the WTTC 2019, Mattias Falck began using the new blade, resulting in exceptional performances: a semifinal in the World Tour Platinum Qatar Open and the silver medal in the World Championships in Budapest.

The Yasaka Falck Carbon blade is ideal for demanding players seeking the latest blade technology. It offers a superb balance between speed and feel for attacking players.

I tried this blade and definitely preferred it to the Butterfly inner carbon blades. It offers more feel and control. However, I’ve decided to go back to an all-wood blade.

This is a good blade. I agree with others that the finish is a bit rough around the handle, but nothing a little sandpaper can’t fix.

Perfect for a male player using short pips on their forehand.

I am using this blade with Xiom Jekyll and Hyde X50, having previously used a Butterfly Timo Boll ALC (TB ALC). It’s slightly slower than the TB ALC and closer in speed to a Viscaria, but the control is significantly better.

I was looking for a light blade (around 82 grams) with a straight handle and a balance of excellent speed and control. The Yasaka Falck Carbon possesses all these qualities. The handle is very comfortable, and the carbon layer is positioned closer to the core, which likely reduces the chance of damage when accidentally hitting the table. The fact that it’s more affordable than other top-brand blades is an added bonus.

I highly recommend it. The delivery from tabletennis11 was also outstanding; very fast, despite being on the other side of the planet.

The Yasaka Fack Carbon racket offers a thrilling combination of speed and control.

With its carbon layers, it delivers blistering speed for powerful shots while maintaining a delicate touch and excellent feedback.

The build quality is impressive, providing durability and stability. Ideal for aggressive players, this racket allows you to dominate the game with precision and finesse.

The Yasaka Fack Carbon racket is a reliable and top-notch choice for those seeking an exciting and high-performance table tennis experience.

I own three of these blades, so it’s definitely a quality product.

The transition from all-wood blades is easy. Once you get used to the feel of this blade, you’ll never want to go back to all wood.

I think there are faster blades available, but this one has a really great feel. It also provides the extra power that a carbon blade offers.

The Butterfly Viscaria is either better than this blade or at least on par. Both speed and control are excellent.

This blade weighs 83g. Due to the carbon construction, it’s a hard blade with minimal vibration, and it plays very fast.

In China, there are also blades like the Fang Bo X and H301X. The Falk Carbon isn’t bad in terms of performance, but its price is significantly higher, making it not a great choice.

For a little more money, you could choose Butterfly’s INNERFORCE series. If the price could be reduced to around 100 euros, the value for money would be much better.
