I recently purchased this rubber to pair with Donic Dotec Impuls (All+) on 2.15mm. I aimed to find a suitable replacement for Nittaku Fastarc S-1, as mine began peeling quickly on the side after approximately 100 hours of use on Goiabao V.

However, this rubber proved to be vastly different from the Nittaku FastArc S1. It has a distinctly beginner-like feel and is unsuitable for an attacking playstyle. Its slow speed, even slower than Mark V, makes it effortless for opponents to counter opening loops. Lifting and initiating loops require significant adjustment and greater effort compared to my experience with S-1.

Despite these shortcomings, I’ve discovered that this rubber excels in chopping and push drop shots, even at its maximum thickness. It has prompted me to shift my playstyle toward more modern defense with this rubber on an All+ blade.

The sponge is remarkably soft (30 degrees on the ESN scale), while the top sheet remains firm due to its lack of break-in time.

Review:

Unfortunately, this rubber proved too soft and mushy for my taste, resulting in imprecise play.
