It took me more than a year to discover my fondness for this rubber, rating it a 9/10 for my backhand. I believe the perfect rubber does not exist, hence the 10/10 rating remains elusive.

This rubber excels in control and excels in receiving serves, blocking, pushing, chopping, flicking, looping, and driving. In fact, it performs all these actions quite well. It is not particularly fast, which translates to better control and accuracy. I consider it a control rubber, and for my current game, I deem it to be the best backhand rubber in the world.

This is the first rubber that I used on an ALL+ J-pen for about 2 months. The rubber is good for looping and spins. It has a little less speed and spin than Tenergy, but Tenergy might be too fast for beginners.

Great product for overall play. Good spin, only a bit less than Tenergy, but at half the price. It should be combined with a fast blade like TBS or ALC.

Pretty disappointed. Its throw angle is very low compared to Sriver FX, and loops are not as strong. It’s not as fast as Butterfly advertises. However, it has similar spin characteristics to Sriver.

Low throw angle, not very good for blocking. Better if you want to loop spinny, but it’s not easy if the opponent gives you a lot of backspin.

A very good rubber!

This rubber is similar to Sriver, but I agree that it definitely has a lower throw angle. Regular Sriver has a much higher throw, and this rubber doesn’t really do anything that regular Sriver does, except maybe provide a little more speed.

For the money, you should skip this rubber and try Cermet or Tenergy instead.

Excellent rubber for service, topspin, loop, and spin. It performs fantastically on my TBS blade.

Very good rubber for anyone who loops with more spin than speed. Despite not being slow, with a good technique, you can easily hit your opponent off the table. Touch and short game are also good.

It’s a shame that the price is a bit steep, which is why I give it a 9 and not a 10.

Good rubber.

My favorite rubber is the [rubber name]. It provides excellent spin, control, and durability. It significantly outperforms the Sriver G2 in these aspects.

If you’re searching for a rubber that’s a step above normal rubbers but a step below tensors, this is a good one to use.

It plays similarly to Sriver but has more power. It loops well, counters well, and smashes well.

Essentially, it’s like a tensor with slightly less speed and better touch.

Highly recommend this rubber if you want a step up from regular rubbers and a rubber that’s controllable.

Great all-round attacking rubber with a bit more pace than the traditional Sriver family.

Medium-soft feel with low throw and great control. Good mechanical grip for loops, nice feel on blocks and flat hits.

Suits most blades, but lacks outright speed so probably a better fit with faster blades if you’re a power attacker.

A low throw, this soft and light rubber isn’t super fast, but it’s definitely enough to put the ball away. It excels in passive play.

This is probably my favorite rubber. I’ve tried various rubbers, such as tensors and Chinese rubbers, but I always play better when I switch back to the G2 FX. The reason is that while it may not excel in any particular aspect, it performs well in all areas. It is also very easy to play with and allows for competitive gameplay.

I previously used it on the backhand side of a Cpen blade and loved it. I have since changed my style and now use it on a Jpen blade (Darker Speed 70, 10mm). Instead of using the maximum thickness, I opted for 2.1mm. Compared to the maximum thickness, 2.1mm provides better touch. Additionally, speed is not an issue since my blade is very fast.

Another advantage of this rubber is its weight. It is considerably lighter than Bryce, Sriver, or Mark V.

I have not identified any drawbacks to using the G2 FX with a fast blade. However, if you choose a lightweight, 5-ply soft blade such as Extra or Allround Classic, it might not provide sufficient power for high-speed exchanges.

I highly recommend the G2 FX to players seeking consistent performance. I will definitely purchase it again.

This rubber is a looping monster. It offers exceptional spin and good control, making it suitable for players who rely on spinny shots. However, it’s important to note that the topsheet is relatively hard, which may not be ideal for players who prefer a softer playing surface.
