Very good quality Hurricane. It plays well on forehand even without boosting. Boosting can be an option as it ages.
The finest rubber that I’ve been using for the past 10 years. I personally enjoy the hard sponge when using it on the forehand. It combines the dangerous looping potential of the rubber from away from the table with a stronger block/counter game close to the table. It might require practice to get used to, but there’s no going back after that.
Great FH rubber for an active player with a good skillset.
I use this version in practice and the provincial for tournaments. The topsheet is very durable.
This rubber needs boosting, of course.
For the price, Hurricane 3 Neo is one of the best forehand rubber options on the market. The Neo Hard, like all Chinese rubber, requires good technique and for the player to hit very hard to get the benefits of the rubber. I have found that Hurricane 3 Neo has improved the kickback effect of my forehand noticeably.
Excellent product.
At first, it is very hard and sticky, but as you use it more, the sponge loosens up and the rubber plays very well. I recommend it, plus it is at a very good price.
Thank you TT11.
The rubber is good for hitting the ball hard or blocking spinny shots (as you can use incoming spin). It doesn’t do well when doing a passive block on a slower shot as the ball will die (not enough energy to reach the net). It also doesn’t work if you reach for the ball and try to put it on the table from out-of-position. You must always hit the ball pretty hard with good technique. The rubber characteristics seemed to change every week, sometimes for better, sometimes for worse. Overall it’s too sensitive to humidity/temperature/incoming spin/shot selection. I replaced it with an Omega V Pro Max and I’m really happy.
It is not the best-selling Chinese rubber for nothing. Whoever wants to master the kill loop spin type of play simply needs to try this rubber. TT11 provides the best service.
Love this rubber better than the regular H3 Neo. The sponge hardness out of the package feels like 41-42 degrees. After applying two layers of the boost, the hardness feels like 40 degrees. Playing characteristics are amazing, it is faster and more linear. Doing FH flicks is just a piece of cake. I will use this rubber for sure. I would recommend this rubber for intermediate and higher-level players.
Have tried Hurricane 3 rubbers before but found them slow and hard to generate pace. Not being an elite player, but the Neo solves this. I am playing with a fast carbon blade also. I think the Hurricane rubbers are very good for improving your technique. I’ve tried many different setups in 3 years of playing. Have used MX-P - very good, Tenergy - the best, but found all other rubbers too fast with no control and no touch. But I know this is my fault, not the equipment. Hurricane Neo on the right blade is beast very spinny fast enough and blocks for fun. Current blade Timo Boll ALC Neo both sides. Tabletennis11 provides fantastic service as always.
Used for a long time, especially on the forehand. The very fast speed is suitable for me.
I have been using H3 for the past two years and since the first time I tried it, I felt it was awesome but needed some adjustments. The neo version solves some of those issues I felt in the first H3 like the tackiness and speed, but it still needed something else. Even if you don’t decide to boost it, it is a spin machine with lots of control sacrificing some speed. Boosting gives some of that necessary speed. I don’t recommend boosting if it is your first time using a tacky rubber.
This rubber gives lots of spin and control. I strongly recommend this for someone who wants to master the basics and take them to another level, because this rubber has no forgiveness at all. So you either make the correct stroke or you miss. But if you use it enough, this helps to correct your mistakes and once you master them, the rubber does everything you want (I don’t recommend this rubber for an absolute beginner, mostly for beginner-intermediate players). Harder versions suit more offensive players.
